As the evenings grow shorter and the colours start to turn, there’s no better way to welcome autumn than with Clonmel Applefest — a local favourite that celebrates everything we love about this place we call home.

Running from 25–28 September 2025, Applefest is a celebration of harvest, heritage, nature, food, and the arts, all wrapped up in a festival that feels as much like a family gathering as it does a cultural event.

A Celebration of Clonmel’s Roots

Set along the beautiful River Suir, Applefest captures the spirit of Clonmel with a mix of live music, storytelling, dance, food stalls, craft workshops, exhibitions, and nature walks. It’s a festival with a strong sense of place — and a lot of heart.

From traditional harvest events to creative arts programming, the weekend brings together locals and visitors for a few magical days of connection, creativity, and (of course) apples in all their forms.

‍‍‍Fun for All Ages

Applefest is proudly family-friendly, with lots of activities to keep kids and grown-ups equally entertained. Whether you’re here for the food, the folklore, or just a fresh-air day out, there’s something for everyone.

It’s also a great time to reflect and reconnect — Applefest marks the shift into autumn with a gentle farewell to summer and a big welcome to the cosier months ahead.
